Milwaukee is soon coming out with 3 new laser distance meters. With a new entry level model that can measure up to 65 ft and the other two are step up models with longer reach of up to 150 ft and 330 ft.

All 3 models are rated IP54 for dust and water protection and have a minimum measuring range of 6 inches and can add and subtract values, calculate linear distance, indirect height and length, surface area, total area, and volume. All have dependable accuracy with a margin of error of around 1/8″ +/- on the 65ft entry level model and only get better on the other two models with a margin of error of around 1/16″ give or take.
You get a basic monochrome LCD screen on the 65ft model with backlight which helps in low light and the step up models feature a full color backlit 2″ LCD screen with graphics.
Each features a simplified user interface that has been designed from the ground up for fast navigation so users can quickly choose their function and take a measurement with minimal downtime. Each of the Laser Distance Meters offer several different measurement functions that allow users to add and subtract values and calculate linear distance, indirect height and length, surface area, total area, and volume. In addition, each tool includes memory storage for 30 readings and impact-resistant overmold for protection from tough jobsite conditions.
Exclusive to the 330’ Laser Distance Meter is the digital auto-level feature. This new functionality allows for a measurement to be automatically taken when the meter reaches a level position, increasing accuracy when measuring long distances. This feature is unlike anything available on the market today.
Expect the 65 ft model to be available in February 2017 for $49.99 and the other two models to be available in March 2017 with a retail price of $99.99 for the 150 ft model and $199.99 for the 330 ft model.
