New Milwaukee M18 Jobsite Fan 0886-20

Milwaukee comes out with a new M18 tool designed for comfort and also for use on the job such as drying drywall, paint, and even leaking pipes- the Milwaukee M18 Jobsite Fan 0886-20. When I first seen it, it’s form factor reminded me of the Arctic Cove misting fan that I reviewed last year which also resembles the cordless/corded Ryobi fan that also came out last year. The M18 model may resemble the Ryobi and Arctic cove models but yet is different enough that it stands out as a Milwaukee product.

Although small with a height of 17.07″ and width of 7.5″ the wind it produces is said to be felt up to 40 feet away with a speed of 18 mph or 284 cfm. Those are some serious claims for a small portable cordless fan. I would imagine it makes a great companion while working indoors. I’ve done several jobs indoors without any AC and it sucked, not because there was no power but either there wasn’t any AC in that house or the customers didn’t feel my comfort was important. Whatever the case a portable jobsite fan would make life a little easier. It would also help out circulating air for drying paint or drywall mud much faster. I wouldn’t expect it to cover a large area ofcourse but would be perfect for smaller sections.
