There’s also a built in speaker you can use to ring the tag to give you an audible alert within 50 feet which makes it easier to locate your tools in case they are lost or hard to find. They have built in accelerometer which provides info which can help determine the last time the item was used. the last It also has NFC and a scannable QR code on the front as seen in the image above for easy 2 step activation. The only thing left to add in these tags is GPS tracking so as to give ONE-KEY the ability to track down stolen tools and property after it’s left the site.

Milwaukee made it easy to place these on property with two side holes in which you can screw, zip tie, or pop rivet on or use the flat backside and glue it to your property as well with something like epoxy. To make the Bluetooth feature work, they are powered by an internal battery with a 3 year runtime. Milwaukee also made these tags tough to withstand drops, shock, and extreme temperatures.
