New Milwaukee Safety Helmets

In addition to hard hats, Milwaukee is introducing new safety helmets that provide side impact protection in addition to top protection. They also say their new helmets provide better protection and more comfort than other options currently available although they didn’t specify if this was compared with their own hard hats or with other safety helmets on the market from other brands.

In addition to top protection from falling objects, side protection offers head protection from slips and falls. And for additional measures to make sure the helmet stays put are chin straps in addition to the rear ratchet and they all offer a comfortable padded suspension and anti-microbial sweatband and helmet liner that can be removed for washing.

The safety helmets are ANSI type 2 and meet energy absorption capacity clauses 4.2.1.2 (front), 4.2.1.3 (side), and 4.3.1.4 (read), and Retention System clauses 4.3.3 (Strength) and 4.2.4 (Effectiveness) of EN12492:2012.

The new Milwaukee safety helmets will come in vented class C and unvented class E and will come in either a front brim visor or without and offered in several colors which include white, yellow, blue, green, red, black, and orange.

Just like their hard hats, these Milwaukee safety helmets accept BOLT accessories like their BOLT headlamps and also has a BOLT marker clip so you can clip on markers, pens, and pencils securely on the side of the helmet.

These new Milwaukee Safety Helmets will launch in September 2021 with an MSRP of $109.97.
