Helly Hansen, the premium workwear brand announced that they are launching their first-ever workwear footwear collection designed specifically for the U.S. market. Let’s check them out below.

They are launching 6 new styles with 4 different models and two of those have an additional variant each. Helly Hansen says they are bringing these new styles after years of research and development. Each model is tailored to a different line of trades and conditions with dialed in technical details. You can expect comfort, safety, and reliability with their new collection.

BIFROST WINTER TALL BOA HT EH | $325
Helly Hansen says these are the “Ultimate Winter” work boots that are ready for any weather condition. The Bifrost Winter Tall BOA HT EH is designed for severe cold weather all the way down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit. This is thanks to their use of Solarcore SC Foam for more warmth while having less bulk. SC Foam is said to be based on NASA developed aerogel, thus making the SC Foam insulation thin, soft, and flexible. It also features Dri-Blaze Lining that naturally captures body heat for additional warmth.
I personally love that they are using the BOA dial fit system. This system is crazy futuristic and ditches traditional laces. Instead of manually lacing, tightening, and tying of a knot at the end, it uses a built-in thin metal cable that’s tightened and untightened by turning the BOA dial. I have the BOA dial on my bike shoes and it’s awesome! They also tighten up more evenly as compared to regular laces. This work boot has a dual BOA dial system to adjust the lower and upper portions of the boot independently.
They also feature HH Dual-Stride technology for superior cushioning and support. The HELLYGRIP XRC rubber outsole keeps you sure-footed on the ice, while the HELLY TECH® Waterproof membrane combined with 400g of Primaloft Gold Insulation and Solarcore Sc_Foam keep your feet warm and dry. They also feature waterproof construction and genuine leather uppers. For protection, they offer moled TPU toe bumpers and have electrical hazard protection as well.
The poured PU footbed is breathable and offers soft underfoot cushioning and moisture management. Because of Helly Hansen workwear’s high performance standards, they say these boots are the ony ones your need for years to come in frigid cold climates.

This model is very similar to the Bifrost Winter Tall Boa model but with a few key differences. Instead of a BOA dial, it offers a traditional lacing system with metal hardware. In addition to the molded TPU toe bumper, it also features a proper composite safety toe for added protection.
Other features include electrical hazard protection, waterproof construction with genuine leather uppers.
