Ryobi just announced another automotive power source that can output up to 1000W and it’s the Ryobi 18V 1000W Automotive Power Source RYi1030AVNM model.

If this model seems very similar to you, that’s because there is a very similar model that’s identical in most respects except for its top output and it’s the RYi8030AVNM that is a 800 max watts model. When I saw this new model, I thought it was the original as it looks identical and has nearly the same features and stats. The main difference is that the new model can output up to 1000 watts. It can be powered by three different options just like the original with 12V DC power at 120 watts max, 18V battery power at 300 watts, and to get the full 1000 watts out of this bad boy you need to tap into your car battery to get full juice just as you would with the 800 watt model. You’ll have to bust out the included alligator clips for that.
Power output comes in a variety of options just as there are inputs. For example it has two 120V AC outlets, one 12V DC port like the ones found in your car, and three total USB ports with two USB-A ports and one USB-C port. It has a small LCD screen on top that displays power output, the power source, input voltage, and battery level.
It will be available July 2022 for $179 as a baretool.
