Ryobi 18V 12″ Hybrid Misting Air Cannon PCL850B Puts Out 1,400 CFM!

Ryobi has just announced a new misting fan, it is the 18V hybrid misting air cannon PCL850B.

This isn’t Ryobi’s first misting fan as they’ve created them before which was based on the Arctic cove misting fan before it. But now they have a new model that’s more powerful and you know it’s powerful when it has “air cannon” as its name. In fact it has 1,400 CFM of air volume pushing performance and can push spray as far as 15 feet away. Unlike the previous misting fans before it, it’s not designed to sit above a bucket but you can still connect it to a garden hose for unlimited water supply. You can also run it just as a fan if you don’t want the misting function.

Ryobi also says it’s part of the Whisper Series meaning it is quieter than similar models according to them, they say it operates at 52 decibels (no mention of how far volume was tested at). As far as runtime is concerned, it can run for up to 2.5 hours on high and up to 6.5 hours on low with a 4.0ah battery although they don’t specify if that’s running on fan alone or fan + misting. The head pivots and rotates up and down.

Ryobi says you can expect it to launch April 2022 and will retail for $149 as a baretool at launch.
