Ryobi 18V 35cm Cylinder Mower ORM1800

Ryobi has a new battery powered mower in Australia, the Ryobi ORM1800 18V 35cm Cylinder Mower.

The new cordless mower uses a single Ryobi 18V battery to power it’s cylinder blades with a 35cm cut width that translates to about 13.77 inches in width. It’s basically the same thing as a manual push mower except that because the “blades” are powered by the motor, it makes it a lot easier to push. It has a rear bag to catch the clippings for easy disposal. It is said to offer up to a half hour of runtime with a 5.0 ah battery which is not bad for an 18v mower.

So far the new mower was spotted in Australia so no word on when or if it will be released here in the USA.

A big thanks to Glenn and DrewBHAM for spotting!

  • Professional cut quality – like scissors cutting each individual blade to perfection
  • Compact design makes for easy storage
  • Rear roller can create patterns in your grass as you cut

I have one here in Australia. When they release it in the States, it will sell. It works really well. You need to set it up out of the box, follow the instructions. The battery is good for longer than 20 minutes. I’m using it on the lowest setting for Seaspray. 200 sq Metres. The battery is not even half down after two passes.
