Much like the PAD01B Ryobi 18V bluetooth speaker, the bluetooth compact speaker does not have the ability to receive and play radio signals, so it’s just a speaker you can use to play tunes from your mobile device and thanks to bluetooth tech, you can do so wirelessly.

This compact bluetooth speaker appears to be a single speaker design making it much smaller than the PAD02 model and it’s also cheaper too at only $29.97 at the time of writing. It’s about the same footprint of a Ryobi 18V battery and just a little taller, making it pretty small and compact. On top you’ll find the power, play/pause, and volume up and down buttons. Ryobi says you can get up to 75 feet of wireless bluetooth signal range and up to 20 hours of runtime on a 2.0 ah battery, battery not included.

According to Ryobi, they say this will launch in December 2020.

  • Enhanced electronics for a clear, full sound
  • Up to 75’ Bluetooth® range
  • Over 20 hrs. of runtime with a 2.0 Ah ONE+™ battery
  • Compact and lightweight for optimal portability on the jobsite or at home
  • Part of the RYOBI ONE+™ System of over 175 Cordless Tools
  • 3-year manufacturer’s warranty
