Last week was a busy week for TTI as they announced two new Ryobi and Milwaukee fans and the fan news doesn’t stop there as they have announced a new Ryobi fan, this time it’s the 18V Whisper Series 7.5″ hybrid fan PCL811B.

This week is a fan only cordless fan and Ryobi measures it at 7.5 inches making it a smaller fan but it does pump out good air volume at 680 CFM making it a tad smidge more airflow than Ridgid’s latest 18V fan. Ryobi doesn’t mention air speed but neither did Ridgid but like the Ridgid 18V fan, the Ryobi is designed to be a quiet fan. In fact it’s part of their Whisper Series which is what they are calling their quietest power tools and Ryobi says it operates at 47 decibels which is very quiet (they do not mention how far the decibel measurement was taken. Everything appears less loud the further you are from the source of sound.)
It’s also a hybrid tool meaning it can run on Ryobi 18V batteries for up to 21 hours of runtime on low with a 4ah battery and it can also run on AC power when plugged into an extension cord for unlimited runtime. I has three speed settings and the head pivots 160 degrees to rotate to your liking.
Ryobi expects to launch this new fan in May 2022 for $59.97 as a baretool.
