Ryobi has announced a new RY40550 40V Brushless 16″ Chain Saw to continue to grow their cordless outdoor power tool line.
Ryobi’s latest battery powered 40V chain saw grows a bit now with a 16 inch bar and chain for a larger cutting capacity and to better compete with the high voltage competition. It features a brushless motor for better performance and runtime and Ryobi says this chainsaw has gas-like power. Other features include load sensing technology, adjustable automatic chain oiler and a chain brake.
This new chainsaw launches Spring 2020 and will retail for $249.

Sweet! 16” model! Had to double-take as I assumed this was just a late article for the existing 14” model as they both have the same battery-down config that allows for ever-increasing size batteries.
