Ryobi has announced new Ryobi USB Lithium cordless tools. They include a new clamp fan, inflator, and a glue pen. Let’s check them out below. They will launch in Spring 2023.

Ryobi USB Lithium Clamp Fan Kit FVF51K
Ryobi’s 18V clamp fan is tiny so it makes sense to make one for their USB Lithium line. They did just that for a truly portable fan setup powered by their tiny USB Lithium battery.
The base has a built in clamp to attach to things for hands free use. The head pivots and rotates. The fan puts out up to 135 CFM to keep cool. And can run for a stated over 7 hours of runtime. It’s priced at $39.97 as a kit.

Ryobi USB Lithium High Pressure Inflator Kit FVIF51K
This battery powered inflator’s greatest strength is its size, or lack of. It can fit in your coat pocket yet can inflate up to 100 PSI. This is Ryobi’s smallest cordless inflator to date!
It has a backlit display on top to read current pressure as you go. It doesn’t appear to have a way to set the desired pressure so you’ll have to babysit it as you fill and make sure to stop it when you’ve reached your desired pressure. I would have liked the ability to set and forget the air pressure and let the tool shut off automatically once it’s been reached.
I like that it comes with velcro straps for mounting. Its size makes perfect sense as a bike tire inflator. Weight hasn’t been listed for those of you weight weenies but the image above shows it strapped to a bike. I do like that it comes with several adaptors including a presta adapter which would make it fit my road bike tires. There’s built in storage for the included accessories.
Looking at this inflators size and 4V battery tells me that it won’t be the strongest or fastest inflator. It probably wont be the best tool for filling a full size car tire from empty. It might get the job done but will chug along if it even gets there. That’s why Ryobi states this is good for topping off vehicle tires. It makes better sense for filling up things like bike tires, dolly tires, and sports balls. Keep in mind this is a high pressure inflator only which means it won’t be any good at filling up your air mattress on your camping trip (or when your wife makes you sleep in the guest room). Other features include a handy LED light on the front for when filling up in the dark.

Ryobi USB Lithium Glue Pen Kit FVH56K
Last but not least is a new take on the glue gun, the glue pen. Ryobi says the pen design provides control and precision. A slide mechanism on the side is how you dispense more glue. Ryobi says it has rapid heat up in less than 30 seconds to get to work faster. A drip tray stand is included to store/display and collect drippings in between use. One thing I noticed was that the drip tray looks a bit different in the two images shown. The lower image shows a fully enclosed cup while it’s open in the front on the above image. Probably because it went through some revisions before being finalized. It will launch with a price of $49.97 as a kit.
