The Handler System – Modular Yard Tool

The Handler is a yard tool system designed with longevity and space saving in mind. This system is built around a single handle made of durable fiberglass with a nylon tip and uses multiple yard tool heads such as shovels, a broom, and rakes. The multiple heads means space savings as you only have one handle and several heads that don’t take up much space as opposed to several complete garden tools.

The main handle uses a nylon locking tip mechanism with stainless steel ball bearings to grip on tight to the attachments and it uses a release lever to help insert and remove attachments. According to the inventor, it “takes 1,200 lbs to pull it apart”.

What’s neat about the system is that that it comes with wall mounts for each item so everything can be neatly stored on the wall from the interchangeable heads to the handle itself. These tools are made in the USA all with a lifetime warranty.

My thoughts: We all tend to think that all in one and interchangeable systems usually are inferior to stand alone units and past experience has shown that but here comes a system using quality materials. I’ve dealt with broken handles on many tools before and this seems like a great idea as you wont have to replace handles at all or often for that matter. A product can only be as strong as its weakest link, or in this case the weakest point which would be the contact point between the handle and attachment. I haven’t seen these tools myself but it’s hard to argue with 1,200 lbs of force to pull apart. Another feature that appeals to me personally are the space savings. I have too much junk and space is a luxury in my situation.
