Two New Makita 18V Fan Jacket Models DFJ304Z & DFJ405Z Help Keep you Cool

A jacket that keeps you cool? Yes Makita did just that when they introduced their first fan jacket model back in 2015. Now they are offering two new updated Makita 18V fan jacket models DFJ304Z & DFJ405Z .

These fan jackets have a fan built in that blows air inside the jacket to keep you cooler, at least your upper body. The original model had one largish fan unit on the bottom backside of the jacket and these two new models use a pair of smaller fans with one on the lower left and lower right back side of the jackets, probably to make them more comfortable to use when sitting. Just like the original model, they have 3 speed settings h/m/l and are powered by the Makita 18V LXT batteries via a plug in power source that you clip onto your belt. The new Makita 18V fan jacket power source has an onboard USB port so you can also charge your phone on the go.

To help in cooling, these new jackets also have a compartment on the back to store two ice packs to further cool you down. Good idea. These jackets also feature a total of 5 pockets with two zippered chest pockets, left and right side pockets and a sleeve pocket.

Both jackets are similarly featured with the only difference being that the DFJ304Z is the blue cotton fabric fan jacket and the DFJ405Z is the white titanium-coated polyester fan jacket that is said to help protect the user against ultraviolet and infrared rays.

The new fan jackets run from mens small through 3xl and depending on model are currently priced on Amazon between $207-243 for the jackets only via the link below.
