Worx Nail Force WX480 20V 18 Gauge Nail / Staple Gun

Worx has came out with a new cordless power tool and it’s the Worx Nail Force WX480 20V 18 Gauge Nail / Staple Gun.

The new Worx cordless nailer offers an interesting design as it can both shoot 18 gauge brad nails and also 18 gauge staples making it a dual purpose nailer. The max size for nails are 50mm which is 1.96″ and 40mm for staples which is 1.57″. The magazine can accept up to 100 nails or staples and has a low nail indicator window. I like that the magazine is not only a side load for easy install but it’s also a metal side hatch.

As far as it’s performance goes, it’s not an instant shot nailer like a regular pneumatic nailer or one of Milwaukee’s M18 Fuel models. The Worx model behaves much like a Ryobi or Ridgid nailer which has to ramp up before shooting. The process is still relatively quick but not instant. According to Worx it can shoot as fast as 80 nails per minute.

It also offers the usual amenities such as single fire and bump fire modes with selector and also has an error light that lets you know if the battery is low, a nail is jammed, no nails or overheat. Includes an LED light to illuminate below the contact tip to help in low light.

And just like all other Worx 20V Powershare tools, it’s compatible with any Worx 20V battery.

At the time of writing it was spotted on the Worx UK Youtube channel but was not available on the Worx USA website. No word on when or if it will make it to the USA but let’s hope it does.

A big thanks to Cody Robertson for spotting!
