Worx has announced a new 40V 725 PSI Hydroshot which is a 40 volt handheld pressure washer.
Why does it sound familiar? That’s because this isn’t Worx’s first cordless pressure washer as they launched the original 20 volt Hydroshot years back. The 20 volt model was capable of a decent 320 PSI and thanks to the higher voltage this 40v model is able to get more than double that at 725 PSI. It’s not as powerful as Sun Joe’s 40V model which pumps out 1160 PSI however it is a larger model and also offers a built in water bucket tank so no need for a water source like a hose. Worx’s 40V model isn’t as powerful however considering it’s very small with the majority of the tool being the actual spray gun with a small external pump attached via hose making it pretty powerful for it’s small size.
This is a brushless tool which is helpful to squeeze as much performance and to run efficiently at the same time. It also has two operating modes of high and low with high getting the max pressure and low 435 PSI. It includes a four-pattern spray nozzle rotates to adjust from 0º to 15º, 25º, and 40º settings. The Hydroshot also accepts aftermarket pressure washer accessories which is handy in case you ever want to add a foam cannon attachment.
While the Worx is a 40 volt tool, it’s actually part of their 20V Powershare line as it runs on two Worx 20V powershare batteries. Hydroshot includes a long, pressure-cleaning wand; two 20V 4.0 Ah Max lithium batteries; 60 minute dual-port charger (one hour per battery); 20-ft. hose accessory, and quick-connect adapter. It is covered by a WORX five-year limited warranty.
It is priced at $369.99 as a kit although I found it for $299.99 at the time of writing via the buy now link below.
