I just got word from Worx that their Worx WX840L 20V Cordless 18 Gauge Brad Nailer / Stapler is making it to the USA! Previously it was spotted in Europe on the Worx International Youtube channel.

The new Worx WX840L 20V Cordless nailer can use 18 gauge brad nails from 3/4″-2″ and also uses narrow crown staples from 3/4″ in. to 1-1/2″ so it’s a two in one nailer stapler. It also uses Worx 20V power share batteries making it compatible with users that already have their batteries.
It has a nice metal side load magazine that fits 105 staples. As a cordless nailer it’s completely self contained and self powered and all it needs is a fresh battery and nails. No need for a noisy compressor and hoses keeping you tethered. Nail fires sound smooth according to their Youtube video and don’t have a loud thunk or click like other nailers but is a very smooth sound. It doesn’t offer instant nail fire like a regular pneumatic nailer as it still has to ramp up before each shot but it looks to fire at a fast rate. It includes single fire and bump fire modes and a dial for tool free depth of drive adjustment, a low nail indicator window, two LED lights to help with low light situations. According to Worx it has a firing rate of up to 80 nails per minute. According to Worx, runtime is said to be up to 500 nails per charge.
You can buy it as a kit that comes with a 20V 2.0 ah battery, charger, and 200 nails/staples and that kit is available now.
