Yard Force 120vRX – 120V Outdoor Power Tools

Thought 80V yard tools were the highest voltage cordless tool platform you could get? Think again as a brand I’ve never heard before called Yard Force now has a new line of 120V outdoor power equipment. It’s called the Yard Force 120vRX line. Sounds like they’re trying to prescribe you their outdoor tools.

They’re not exactly the first 120V line as Redback also has their own 120V outdoor power tool line.

As of right now, Yard Force only has 3 120v tools with a 22″ self propelled mower, an 18″ string trimmer, and a leaf blower. With 120V tools you would expect high performance and that’s what you get with their power tools.

Most battery powered mowers are 21 inch at the high end and Yard Force pushes the trend with a brushless 22 inch mower, and it’s self propelled! Most battery powered string trimmers have a cutting swath between 13-16 inches but Yard Force pushes ahead with an 18 inch cutting swath, using dual 0.95″ line and a brushless motor. The Yard Force 120V brushless blower also has strong stats with 540 CFM and 140 MPH blowing force. The blower is a strong contender on paper although it’s performance stats are very close to competing brands 56-80V blowers, in other words it’s not a huge bump ahead because of it’s increased voltage.

The larger voltage not only helps produce better performance, it also helps these tools have long runtimes as the much larger batteries pack more cells which lead to more watt hours, the higher the watt hours a battery has, the longer it power your tools. You can expect up to 100 minutes of runtime for the Yard Force mower, up to 60 minutes on the string trimmer, and up to 40 minutes on the blower.

All 3 come with 2.5ah batteries, one included with each except for the mower which gets 2 batteries included. The mower also holds both batteries at the same time, which helps it run longer. Pricing for the blower and string trimmer as kits is $350 each, while the mower is $799 which is considerably higher than other battery powered mowers on the market.

Yard Force 120vRX 22” Self-Propelled 3-in-1 Mower
