Ryobi has announced a new 18V tool with a new cordless handheld pool vacuum to help with pool maintenance. Let’s check it out below.

Ryobi 18V Pool Vacuum PCL780K
This actually isn’t their first pool vacuum, I wrote about their earlier model back in 2018. This model isn’t that much different overall from that model.
Just like the earlier model, it’s a handheld portable vacuum cleaner designed for underwater use in pools.
It also has the ability to attach to a pool pole so you can reach all the way down at the pool floor. Also has an IPX8 rating for water resistance up to 13 feet. It has a wide floor nozzle and is good for picking up sand, dirt, leaves, and more. A 1.7 liter tank capacity for plenty of pickup capacity and less emptying.
It has a dual layer filter for easy cleaning to extend the life of the filter.
The wide nozzle can be removed for when you’d prefer to use the narrow built in nozzle.
And a sealed compartment keeps your precious batteries dry.
It will launch March 2025 for $149 as a baretool and $179 as a kit with a 2ah battery and charger.
