We know that cordless tools are getting stronger and stronger as the years pass. This is evident in the fact that they are now replacing tools that used to be exclusively corded tools. There are still a few power tools that are corded only but their days are numbered.

There have been other brands like Makita that have come out with larger than 7-1/4″ cordless circular saws that can cut 4x material in one pass. Now Milwaukee joins the ranks with their own beam saw designed for cutting down structural lumber with the M18 FUEL 10-1/4″ rear handle circular saw model. This bad boy utilizes a 10-1/4″ blade with enough capacity to cut through 4x lumber in one pass.

Thanks to its powerful brushless motor, Milwaukee is claiming this is the industry’s most capable beam cutting solution. What’s also impressive about it is that it doesn’t need more than 18 volts of power like some of the competition. It can do so with its M18 18 volt batteries! But then again, Milwaukee’s been doing this for years so no surprise that they can squeeze so much performance out of the M18 platform.

This large saw is also very manageable for its size coming in at 10.3 lbs baretool. Milwaukee says it’s also the lightest 10-1/4″ circular saw in the market. Also interesting is that it’s a rear handle saw model as well, with the design of a worm drive. Although not an actual wormdrive.

I like that they added a large handle on the left side towards the front for better support when cutting. It’s also removable as well.

Milwaukee also introduces their 10-1/4″ thick kerf framing circular saw blade which they say offers the straightest cuts and longer life in wood. It also provides ultimate stability in softwoods, hardwoods, lumber, and laminated woods. It uses cobalt-infused carbide teeth stay sharper longer while the diamond venting pattern allows for cool cutting and improved chip ejection. This thick kerf saw blade is optimized for the most powerful cordless saws for strong performance even at the highest RPM’s. This blade comes included with the new Milwaukee M18 FUEL 10-1/4″ Rear Handle Circular Saw.

This new saw launches July 2026 for $599 as a kit with a Forge HD12.0 battery and rapid charger. It will also be available as a baretool for $429.
