- Plenty of power – was able to cut a 3 inch solid block of red oak without bogging down
- Large 32-1/2 inch rip capacity to the right
- additional dust port on the blade guard to supplement the rear dust port
- easy to use rack & pinion fence movement
- accuracy was good enough out of the box for rough construction
- rip scale was spot on out of the box
- “transforming” flip out fence for ripping thin stock and doubled as long work piece support
- built in lever on table to easily and quickly remove and reinstall the riving knife/blade guard without tools
- Roll cage metal frame vs plastic frame
- Plenty of onboard storage for included accessories
- can accept a dado stack up to 13/16″
- dual rip scale for fence positions to the right of blade
Dislikes:
- saw is bolted onto the stand meaning it can’t be easily and quickly removed
- no onboard storage for extra blades
- aluminum fence feels cheap
- no rip scale for left of the blade fence placement
