Dewalt has come out with a DXSTA151PS 15 Amp GFCI Power Station with Detachable Work Light and Cord Minder Kit. It’s available now for about $130.
The Dewalt DXSTA151PS 15 Amp GFCI Power Station is basically a large power strip built for jobsite use and abuse and interestingly enough it comes with a top handle that stores a detachable rechargeable LED light that puts out a nice 500 lumens. As a power strip it has 8 built in 3 prong outlets and also houses two USB ports on the side with it’s own rubber weather sealed flap. It has a 15 amp circuit breaker and if that weren’t enough it’s also a GFCI which means it will cut electricity to the entire power station if unintended current flow is detected.
It can be wall mounted and it also comes with steel cord minder brackets which are powder coated and it’s large enough to hold up to 100-feet of heavy-duty 10/3 cable and strong enough to support up to 50-pounds, this accessory features spring-loaded, rotating end caps that allow for vertical or horizontal storage of power cords as well as easy cord retrieval. The cord minder mounts easily to the uprights of the 6 or the 4-foot DEWALT storage racks.
