Klein Tools Digital Probe and Tone Set VDV500-920 – Features
This set includes a digital tone generator and digital tracing probe to trace and locate cables when used on an active network.
Digital Tone Generator VDV500-163
The digital tone generator VDV500-163 performs analog and digital toning. It offers wire tracing and wire pair identification. This can be used to wire map to check pin to pin connections with shield protection and also features ABN clips to attach securely to wires. It can test EJ24, RJ11, and RJ 12 data cables by using its built in RJ45 port.

Digital Tracing Probe VDV500-223
The digital tracing probe VDV500-223 traces non energized wiring and can trace and locate cables one an active network when used in conjunction with the digital tone generator above. It can also be used to wire map to check pin to pin connections when used with the digital tone generator. This has a work light to help in low light situations. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack to you can hear it even during noisy environments.
