Makita DPO600 18V LXT Brushless Cordless 150mm 6″ Random Orbit Polisher

Makita currently has a corded random orbit polisher with the PO5000CX2 model and now they have released a new cordless version of that model with their Makita DPO600 18V LXT Brushless Cordless 150mm 6″ Random Orbit Polisher which can be found in overseas markets like Australia and New Zealand.

Overall the Makita Makita DPO600Z 18V LXT Brushless Cordless 150mm 6″ Random Orbit Polisher looks very similar in cosmetic design to it’s corded counterpart however the cordless version is packing a brushless motor and gets an upgraded capacity now at 6 inches. It has two selectable rotation modes with a normal mode for rough polishing and a finishing mode for fine polishing. Runtime is said to be up to 25 minutes with a 6.0 ah battery.

As was said in the outset, it’s only available overseas and has been spotted in Australia and New Zealand. No word on when or if it will make it to the USA but I don’t see any reason it wouldn’t make it’s way to the USA since it would be good competition to Milwaukee’s M18 Fuel Polisher model.

A big thanks to Cody Robertson for spotting!
