Building on their widely popular M18 Fuel 1/2″ Mid Torque Impact Wrench lineup, Milwaukee has now announced a new 3/8″ version! This new model delivers up to 450ft-lbs of fastening torque and 600ft-lbs of nut-busting torque which is the same as the 1/2″ version. According to Milwaukee they say that this new 3/8″ mid torque impact wrench is completely outperforming all other 3/8″ impact wrenches today!

What makes these new mid torque wrenches great is that you get torque numbers of 450 ft-lbs Fastening Torque and 600ft-lbs Nut-Busting Torque which is more torque than yesteryears cordless high torque impact wrenches however are smaller & more compact and lighter than today’s latest high torque models at just barely longer than today’s compact impact wrenches. You’ll be able to fit where high torque impact wrenches can’t while getting roughly twice the torque of compact models.
Basically all the stats including torque numbers, 3 selectable speed settings and even the body length and weight are identical to the 1/2″ mid torque model. The only things that change is the anvil to the smaller 3/8″ size and the RPM’s and IPM’s get tweaked a bit. You lose 100 RPM’s while gaining 200 IPM’s when compared to the 1/2″ model.
This new 3/8″ model is available in July 2018 and is priced at ($189) for baretool 2852-20 ; ($299) for 2x 2.0 battery kit 2852-22CT ; and ($399) for 2x 5.0 battery kit 2852-22.
