The new 18V inflator looks very similar to their existing 18V inflator but the major difference is that the DMP181 otherwize known as DMP181ZX is their high pressure version that goes up to 160 PSI. It’s good for high pressure inflatables like tires and sports balls however you’ll need another type of in inflator with the high volume low pressure for inflating things like air mattresses such as the Dewalt 20V inflator. On the top of the tool in front of the handle you’ll find a backlit LCD display where you can dial in your preferred PSI and set it and forget as you let the tool inflate and will turn off automatically when the desired PSI is reached. Next to the LCD display on the side, you’ll find the power on/off button and in the front top you’ll find on board storage for the included adaptors. The hose is 25-1/2” inches in length.

  • Powerful high-volume pump for faster inflation; delivers up to 160 PSI
  • Conveniently tops off cars and light truck tires with speed and ease
  • Easily inflates vehicle tires, bicycle tires, sports balls, and more
  • Three speed settings (High/Medium/Low)
  • Air release button allows pressure to be released if over inflation occurs

The Makita 18V sprayer XSU03Z has a 1.3 gallon capacity to hold water based chemicals such as weed killers, fungicides, insecticides, and fertilizers and works off of a single Makita LXT 18V battery. It comes with adjustable mist and jet nozzles that provide 19 and 38 PSI.

The user can select one nozzle head for targeted spraying or two nozzle heads to cover a wider area

As far as runtime is concerned, you can spray up to 90 gallons with a 5ah battery. The spray wand can telescope from 20″ to 27″ inches to help with reach and storage. The unit is IP54 rated to handle the outdoors. It also features a lock for continuous usage.

  • Motor delivers immediate and consistent pressure up to 38 PSI
  • Sprays up to 90 Gallons with 18V LXT 5 Ah battery (battery sold separately)
  • 1.3 Gallon tank
  • Variable mist or jet nozzles adjust pressure between 19 – 38 PSI
  • Select between 1 nozzle head for targeted spraying or 2 nozzle heads to cover a wider area

Last but not least is their 12″ brushless top handle chain saw XCU10z. Their latest 18V model has a strong brushless motor that supports a 12 inch bar and chain which is up from their previous brushless top handle 18V version that had a 10 inch bar. This now puts it squarely against other brands such as Ryobi and Dewalt who’ve had brushless 18V chainsaws with 12 inch bars for quite some time now. It’s good to see Makita catching up with the other brands in this regard.

The new Makita LXT Cordless Top Handle Chain Saw is packed with features designed for professional usage. The captured guide bar nut and lateral chain tensioning offer convenient operation and maintenance.

Makita says this battery powered chain saw is similar in performance to a 22cc gas chain saw however without all the hassle of gas like pull starts, fumes, consumable gasoline, etc. Thanks to its brushless motor, it is said to be able to cut up to 150 cuts of 2×2 cedar with a 4ah battery. And if you need more power to cut thick branches and hardwood you can select the Torque Boost Mode for more power. For safety, there’s a handle button that will only let you operate the chain saw when it is gripped in your hand. Like many chain saws, it has a viewing window so you can see roughly how much bar and chain oil is left.

  • Compact top handle design ideal for pruning, trimming and limbing
  • Makita-built Outer Rotor Brushless Motor direct-drive system provides power equivalent to a 22cc gas chain saw
  • Up to 150 cuts in 2×2 cedar with 18V LXT 4.0Ah battery (battery not included)
  • Torque boost mode for cutting dense material
  • Captured bar nut and lateral chain tensioning for convenient operation and maintenance
