Ryobi has announced several new hand tools and accessories including two new scissors. Let’s check them out below.

RYOBI STRAIGHT SCISSORS RHCS01 $13.97
Ryobi’s latest scissors look to be heavy duty. They come in two models, in straight and offset flavors. This is their straight regular cutting model. They appear to be based off of sister brand Milwaukee’s original scissors design with full metal core for durability and rubber overmold inside the loops for comfort. The heavy duty metal blades allow for cutting of thicker materials. Stainless steel construction to help with corrosion resistance.
They also have a cool new feature, a built in “tape breaker” which is a small angular exposed metal bit on the handle end to help split tape open when opening boxes. This is supposed to help so that you don’t need to use the regular blades thus preserving their sharpness for longer.
They are available now for $13.97.
