Seems that the only way to go forward these days with cordless power tools is to go brushless and good news for us is that Porter Cable is adding a new brushless power tool to it’s 20V line up. This new cordless brushless power tool is a Porter Cable 20V brushless drill.

Not much is known at the moment but it has been spotted on the Acme Tools instagram page at https://www.instagram.com/acmetools/. The new Porter Cable 20V brushless drill appears to be very compact in length which is what can be expected from new brushless tools as they seem to be getting smaller, lighter, and more powerful in some cases. We can also see that has a built in Fuel gauge right above the battery holder below the handle which is a plus. But other than it’s existence and picture nothing else is known such as torque or rpm stats and specs so we’ll have to wait soon for more info.
