Ryobi 18V 3″ Handheld Auger P29016BTL – Features
This here is Ryobi’s latest cordless battery powered digging auger. It does all the digging for you so you don’t have to break your back to do so.
It digs using a 14 inch long by 3 inch wide auger bit.
This helps dig 3 inch wide holes up to 12 inches deep. Perfect for your small garden planting needs like bulbs and small plants. It has the power to dig through dirt, potting soil, and tough surfaces like red clay.
The shorter length of the auger bit means that you will have to get closer to the ground to dig up holes. So keep this in mind if your lower back and knees are often yelling at you.
The top section of the tool is where you’ll find the two side handles. At the very top is the battery holder. This tool accepts Ryobi’s popular 18V batteries.
The auger bit is user replaceable thanks to a quick connect system. A bit release slide button at the bottom is what ejects the bit for replacement and cleaning.
