Ryobi 18V 4.75 Gallon Wet Dry Vacuum PWV200B

Back in May 2020 we learned that Ryobi had introduced an 18V wet dry vacuum model R18WDV-0 with 18 liter capacity or 4.75 gallons and with a metalic tub that looked like a stainless steel model. This model was spotted in Australia without knowing if it would ever make it to the USA market but now Ryobi has launched that model here in the USA as the Ryobi 18V 4.75 Gallon Wet Dry Vacuum PWV200B .

It’s basically the same unit as the Australian model. The only difference I can spot is a cosmetic one where the Ryobi logo is higher and mentions 4.75 where the old Ryobi logo used to be on the Aussie model. Other than that it looks identical. The USA model is rated at 40 CFM suction which is strong for a small cordless vacuum which is slightly less suction than Milwaukee’s M18 2 gallon wet dry vacuum that’s rated at 45 CFM. This means that this Ryobi vac is half as powerful as Ryobi’s own 18V 6 gallon vacuum which is rated at 80 CFM.

While the Australian model didn’t mention whether the metal can was stainless steel or not, the USA model makes it clear that it is stainless steel. It uses a 5 foot x 1-1/4″ hose and comes with several attachments and with on board storage.

The front top of the unit is a clear dark tint battery compartment that also protects the battery from the environment.

This model is one of the 11 new 18V tools mentioned in Ryobi’s latest youtube video and is already available for purchase at a very affordable $59.88 as a baretool.

A big thanks to DrewBHAM for spotting!

No longer available? HEPA filter? non-standard hose size?
Ryobi is a joke. Why is the 3-gal project vac so hard to get and more expensive that METAL tools with RECIPROCATING assemblies (sawzall)?
Why aren’t these project vacs available with ryobi days battery packs like everything else. What happened to this little ‘metal’ canister vac? Gone forever?
