This new model is their third transfer pump and it’s also cordless running on 18V batteries. They also recently came out with another cordless pump. Ryobi 18V HP Brushless Transfer Pump – Features

Ryobi 18V Brushless Transfer Pump

This new transfer pump is very much like the original Ryobi hybrid transfer pump. Both models run on 18V batteries and have an overall similar design. There are some differences to note. For example this new model features a brushless motor, has an integrated carry handle. And it is not a hybrid model, meaning it can only run on battery power. Unlike the hybrid model that can run on battery or extension cord.

Other features include 3 speed variable GPM. Along with 3-mode automatic shutdown timer with settings at 5, 10, 15 minutes or when the sensor detects no water. Features a metal pump housing and a plastic water resistant sealed battery housing. The baseplate has predrilled mounting holes if you would rather keep it in a fixed position. An included drain filter allows to pump drain water in a water level down to 1/16″.
