DrewBHAM is busy again spotting new Ryobi tools, this time he found a new Ryobi 18V LED Area Light PCL662B and he spotted it on the Ryobi Tools website.

The Ryobi 18V LED Area Light PCL662B is a small compact light with 850 lumens and the ability to surround a small area with light. Though it is not called a lantern, it appears to have the similar functionality of one making it good for use around the house and for camping as well. It has 3 light settings with low at 100 lumens, medium at 400 lumens and high at 850 lumens.

Its small design means its footprint is as small as the battery it attaches to. And to make it more functional, Ryobi added USB port on the side with the power button making it perfect for camping and for power outages to charge small electric devices like smartphones and tablets.

The light also has a handle that doubles as a “hook” to hang on a nail or screw for handsfree use.

The Ryobi 18V LED Area Light PCL662B will be sold as a baretool meaning no battery or charger will be included.

A big thanks to DrewBHAM for spotting and sharing!
