Ryobi just announced 3 new tools today, one of them being the Ryobi 18V precision rotary tool PRT100B .

Ryobi also already has an 18 volt rotary tool so why make another? This new model seems to be a smaller version for a lower price point. It’s priced at $44.97 making it a little over half the price of its bigger brother. It’s also tethered like the original however with a smaller base station and less RPM’s at a max 23,000 RPM no load top speed. It does retain variable speeds which is good with 5 variable speed settings ranging from 4,400 to 23,000 RPM.
While it is sold at a baretool which means no battery no charger are included, it does come with several accessories (12) which means it’s ready to work out of the box if you already have a battery to work with. It also comes with an onboard storage compartment to keep bits on hand ready to go.
As mentioned above, it’s priced at $44.97 and is set to launch December 2020.
