Ryobi announced two new lights and a new charger to their USB Lithium line of cordless tools. The two new lights include a new USB Lithium compact LED flashlight FVL51K and USB Lithium LED flip light FVL52K and the new charger is the USB Lithium 3 port charger FVCH01. All three will be available in October 2022.

Ryobi USB Lithium Compact LED Flashlight FVL51K
This is their compact little flashlight that puts out 600 lumens of brightness and has three light modes, high/low/strobe. It measures 5.5″ long and weighs 5.6 oz making it light and compact. It comes with a little clip to clip on your shirt pocket or other pockets. It comes with a 2ah battery that provides up to 18 hours of runtime on the low setting. It is rated IP54 for water and dust resistance. Priced at $39.97 as a kit.

USB Lithium LED Flip Light FVL52K
The flip light is a cool little light with a built in stand and a pivoting panel light that you can direct and angle where you need light for handsfree use. The stand/base is magnetic so you can attach it on a metal surface like a tool box or tool cabinet or chest. Ryobi also says it can be mounted to 2x lumber for a variety of handsfree mounting options. It too is small like the rest of the Ryobi USB lithium tools but yet puts out a bright 500 lumens of light that should cover a wider area than the flashlight shown above. Will cover a wider area but only nearby, think of close quarters lighting. It has 3 brightness settings of high/medium/low and with it’s included 2ah battery can get up to 24 hours of runtime on low. Just like the flashlight, it is rated IP54 for water and dust resistance and also priced at $39.97 as a kit.

Ryobi USB Lithium 3 Port Charger FVCH01
Not only does the USB lithium 3 port charger have the ability to charge up to 3 batteries, it can charge each battery up to 80% faster than using the standard USB charging cables that come included with the tools and batteries. This will no doubt help speed charging times up considerably. Keep in mind that it is a sequential charger meaning that it will charge each battery one at a time. Besides charging batteries, Ryobi says this charger can also maintain batteries although no mention as to what this actually does to the batteries to maintain them and there’s also an energy save mode that conserves energy when not charging or maintaining batteries. Built in LED lights to indicate the charge status of each battery. The charger can also be wall mounted for convenience. Like the other two lights in this article, the 3 port charger is also priced at $39.97.
