Ryobi introduces 3 new cordless inflators including the 18V dual function digital inflator / deflator, Whisper series high volume inflator, and high pressure digital inflator. All will be available beginning January 2024. Let’s check them out below.

Ryobi 18V Dual Function Digital Inflator / Deflator – Features
You can tell Ryobi loves their inflators as not only are three new models introduced in this article, but they already have several existing models to choose from. This seems to be the latest model of their flagship inflator/deflator which they are calling the 18V dual function digital inflator / deflator. If you’re looking for a full featured inflator then look no further as this model can inflate high pressure items like tires and sports balls.
It also has a high volume low pressure inflator (up to 16 SCFM) for use with inflatables such as air mattresses and beach balls so you don’t have to run out of breath. This can inflate a queen air mattress as fast as under 2 minutes and can inflate up to 45 queen air mattresses with a 4ah battery. It can also deflate inflatables quickly when the hose is connected to the intake port.
On the top is where you’ll find the backlit LCD display and buttons. The display will show you the current air pressure when working with the high pressure function. You can also select the desired air pressure in PSI (up to 160 PSI) and the set it and forget it feature will fill tires for you and stop once the desired PSI is reached. It’s a real convenient feature to have and takes out all the guesswork for you.

A new feature added to this new model is an integrated LED work light which comes in handy for night time roadside maintenance. I also noticed that this model has a new quick connect air chuck.
This model comes with an included high volume low pressure hose and presta and sport ball adapters with onboard storage for all.
One feature that this model is missing to make it a fully featured inflator would be if it had the ability to hook up to your vehicles 12V DC port (AKA cigarette port) so you could run it off your vehicles battery power and not have to bring an 18V battery. A feature I particularly liked on the Dewalt 20V inflator model.

Ryobi 18V Whisper Series High Volume Inflator – Features
Running on the Ryobi 18V platform, this tool is a high volume inflator only. It can’t fill up tires but it’s sole purpose is to fill up inflatables like air mattresses and beach balls. And since it’s a Whisper Series tool, Ryobi states that it’s about 44% quieter.
It can inflate inflate and deflate inflatables much faster than you can by mouth. Inflation of a queen air mattress is as fast – in under 90 seconds and can fill up to 55 air mattresses with a 4ah battery.
This model also doubles as a light duty hard surface blower for things like saw dust and such.

Ryobi 18V High Pressure Digital Inflator – Features
This little model also runs on Ryobi’s 18V batteries and is solely a high pressure inflator.
This means that it can inflate things like car tires and bike tires. It’s also good for inflating sport balls.
This model appears to be the new and improved more compact model over the existing P737D model. Like the P737D model before it, it also has a backlit LCD display but with updated design. It now features the set it and forget it feature that shuts off when the desired PSI is reached. Its also capable of up to 160 PSI.
The hose has been upgraded to a longer 24″ length for added reach. Presta and ball adapters are included and the hose and adapters have onboard storage.
