One of the things I love about Ryobi is that they don’t just make the same ol’ tools. They broaden their range to include stuff not only for home use but also personal use. Like this fan for example. Ryobi is no stranger to fans but this is a truly pocketable and truly personal fan you can carry with you and on you. A true EDC tool.

Thanks to its use of the tiny USB Lithium battery, it remains very tiny. It fits easily in your pockets and you can whip it out for use anywhere. I’ve seen several people use those tiny pocketable fans and blowers and it’s cool to see Ryobi join in on the fun.

Most of the personal fans (at least the ones I’ve seen) are from no name brands. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it’s nice to see a well known brand like Ryobi come out with one. And being part of the USB Lithium line means that the included battery can be used on other Ryobi USB Lithium tools.

As you can see, the fan can be used handheld for cooling anywhere.

The design allows so you can also fold it for stationary handsfree tabletop use. It offers cordless convenience with the included USB Lithium battery and can offer up to 17 hours of cooling on low and up to 6 hours on high. If you have more USB Lithium batteries, you can always swap out a fresh one when one runs out of juice. And then conveniently charge the batteries since they have built in USB-C ports.

Other features include a LED light that changes from green to red to signal a low battery. And it has flexible blades with auto‑stop technology for safety.

It will be available in July 2026 and priced as a Kit for $29.97 as a kit with 2ah battery and charge cable. You will need to supply your own charging block to connect the charge cable, but most of us have several of these on hand so not a problem.
