Bauer 20V 4-1/2″ Circular Saw – Features
As you can see above, this is a compact circular saw running on their 20V battery. It’s much smaller than your typical 6-1/2″ circular saw though considerably longer due to the angle grinder style design.
In fact this saw appears to be the cordless version of their corded 4-1/2″ in version shown above.
The tiny 4-1/2″ blade and inline design make for a one handed design. Though the blade is tiny, it has enough capacity to cut through 2x lumber in one pass at 90 degrees though at 45 degrees should take two passes to complete.
Features included are the ability to bevel cut up to 45 degrees with increment markings at ever 15 degrees. It also has an electric brake that stops the blade when the trigger is released. As you can also see, it has an integrated vac port for better dust management.
A hex key is included to help with swapping blades. And a built in hex key holder slot is in the back of the tool to keep it on hand.
