This Dewalt cordless 20V brushless ratchet features a sealed head and glass-filled nylon tool housing. This helps it to resist automotive oils and solvents. Also, while not labelled as such, the head is extended more than a typical cordless ratchet. This makes it an extended reach ratchet for those hard to reach areas inside an engine bay.

This model uses interchangeable drive anvils and comes with 3/8″ and 1/2″ drive anvil heads. This allows one tool to serve as both a 3/8″ and 1/2″ ratchet without the need for adapters. This also helps users save on cost as you won’t need to rebuy the same tool twice if you need both drive sizes.

Thanks to its brushless motor, this ratchet has some strong torque. It puts out 75 ft-lbs of torque and can rotate up to 300 RPM. That makes it the strongest cordless ratchet I’ve seen so far. As far as other features go, it has an ergonomic grip design, a variable speed trigger, an LED light to help with low light. And also has a trigger lock to prevent accidental tool activation.

I’m not sure of the exact launch date of this new ratchet but it is up for pre-order at the time of writing, so it should be coming out soon. We do know that it will be priced at $249 as a baretool DCF510B and $349 as a kit DCF510GE1 with a Powerstack oil resistant battery and charger.
