Ryobi 18V Link 3 Gallon Wet Dry Vacuum
If the name sounds familiar to you, that’s because Ryobi already has an 18V 3 gallon wet dry vacuum P3240. We learned about that model since back in 2017. It seems like they completely overhauled original with this new model. Though I do not know if this new model will replace the original since the original is still listed on the Home Depot site.
Above we can see the new model on the left and the original on the right. Quite a big difference in appearance I say.
Ryobi 18V Link 3 Gallon Wet Dry Vacuum – Features
Just like the original, the new model is a wet dry vacuum. This means you can pick up the usual dry messes.
It can also pick up liquids and spills as well as shown above. The rated tank capacity is 3 gallons though the actual usable capacity may be less as is usually the case.
Performance is rated at 45 CFM of suction which is the same as the original. This makes it about as powerful as sister brands Milwaukee M18 2 Gallon wet dry vacuum which I thought was good for its size.
The included accessories are a 6’ x 1-1/4” flexible hose and two nozzles. A utility and crevice nozzle. There is onboard storage for it’s accessories.
It comes with a reusable and replaceable cylinder pleated filter.
Other features include 2 speeds for max performance or better runtime. A blower port is also included for the times when you need to clear away debris.
Part of the Ryobi Link System
When it comes to functions, this new vacuum is not much different than the original. However there is one big difference, this new vacuum is part of Ryobi’s Link Storage system. As shown above, this vacuum has slots on the back and on the bottom to mount with other Ryobi Link components.
The slots on the bottom allow it to stack and connect to Ryobi Link tool boxes.
The slots on the back allow it to wall mount on Ryobi Link wall rails. This provides an easy way to wall mount and dismount for easy storage options.
