Hercules 20V Brushless Variable Speed Rotary Polisher / Sander – Features
Hercules’ polisher / sander is good for polishing your vehicles paint and paint correction.
It’s also good for waxing and buffing your paint finish. And all of this can be done without cords thanks to it being powered by Hercules 20V batteries.
It’s got a brushless motor that provides 800-2,400 RPM through a variable speed dial on top. At 2,400 RPM it spins up faster than Dewalt and Milwaukee 18/20V models which are capped at 2,200 RPM. Great job Harbor Freigth! It also has a variable speed trigger to fine tune the speed even further. A trigger lock helps for long sessions so as to not tire you out. A soft start motor helps so you don’t fling compound or polishing product everywhere.
The motor gearcase is metal that is covered in rubber so as to not damage your delicate paint with contact. A side handle is included for two handed use. It can be used on the left or right hand configuration.
It also comes with a large D-handle which has several grip positions for holding onto at many angles. Harbor Freight says this comes with a premium 7 inch hook and loop backing pad. You can also purchase and use 6 inch backing pads as well.
