Klein Tools Carbon Fiber Full Brim Hard Hats – Features
Carbon fiber is a premium material found on things like high end cars and bikes and many other things as well. It is highly valued for its strong yet lightweight properties which would make it fitting for use as a hard hat. Klein already has some premium KARBN pattern hard hats, however those only have the appearance of carbon fiber. They are actually hard hats that have been hydro-dipped with a polymer film patter for a faux carbon look. These new Klein Tools hard hats are made of actual carbon fiber throughout. Accept no imitations.
As you can see, these new carbon fiber models feature actual carbon fiber. Due to the uniqueness of carbon fiber, each model is made of woven carbon weave and thus will have an individual look to each one. No two will be exactly alike but very similar. There will be three models all featuring a full brim. They also feature adjustable vents which Klein says are not found on other carbon fiber hats, at least at the time of writing.
All are class C type 1, feature a 6 point suspension harness with open frame design for air circulation and large ratchet knob. A premium padded sweatband & top pad feature evaporative tech are included. The differences between the models: the 60512 model features a Titan design with front and rear accessory mount and included headlamp. The 60513 model features a Spartan design and no front or rear accessory mount. The 60514 model is much like the 60512 as it has the front and rear accessory mounts with included headlamp but instead has a Spartan design.
