Milwaukee M18 Fuel Top Handle Chainsaw – Features

Milwaukee is committed to their outdoor power tools running on the M18 system. We clearly see that by more and more models including two new chainsaws using the top handle configuration. By moving the rear handle to the top gives the saw the ability to be used one handed when needed. The Milwaukee M18 Fuel top handle chainsaw comes in two models. The 12 inch model is shown above and the 14 inch model is shown below.

Both are said to be faster than 35cc gas chainsaws and they have the ability to maintain power under load to cut even hardwoods. And as you can see, these use a bolt design to adjust and change chain tension. Tools are required to change and adjust chain tension. An included scrench is provided for this purpose.

On the opposite side we see metal bucking spikes and the oil tank reservoir. The trigger is variable speed to give the user fine control of cut. The motor provides up to 7,700 RPM on both models.

Both models come with a scabbard included to protect the bar and chain when not in use.

Both models are available as a baretool. Although only the 14 inch model comes in kit form, two actually.

The 14 inch model shown above in a one battery kit. It comes with an 8ah battery and rapid charger. The two battery kit comes with one 8ah battery and rapid charger as well as a 12ah battery.

The Top handle chainsaw in all its variations are said to be available June 2023. Prices are as follows. $339 for the 12″ model baretool and $349 for the 14 inch model baretool. The 14″ 1 battery kit is $499 and the two battery kit is $699.
