Milwaukee M18 Fuel Dual Battery Backpack Blower – Features
Milwaukee’s latest blower not only is it their first backpack blower, it’s also their strongest model yet. It puts out more power than their previous dual battery blower, now at 650 CFM at 155 MPH. No doubt it needed a larger heavier motor to produce more power and it’s a good thing this is strapped on your back to drastically reduce arm fatigue as most of the weight is on your back.
Milwaukee says this model puts out 20.5 Newtons of max blowing force and it’s also quiet. It is rated at 62 decibels for very quiet operation. Milwaukee says this puts out a higher blowing force than up to 60cc gas powered options. But since it’s battery powered, you don’t have the hassles of gas and engine maintenance and have easy push starting. Milwaukee also says this blower maintains a high level of blowing force throughout the battery discharge so there’s no drop in productivity.
This model is their second dual battery blower. So just like the name suggests, it requires two 18V batteries at a minimum to operate. Batteries slide on the backpack harness and there are a total of 4 battery slots for additional runtime.
Both the backrest and straps feature padding for added comfort.
The trigger handle is also your control center with variable speed trigger, 3 selectable speeds, and cruise control. There you can also see the double battery fuel gauge to monitor battery status.
The handle position is adjustable and the nozzle is telescoping so you can find the hose length that works best for you.
