Milwaukee has just announced new TWS ear buds with their Red Lithium USB ear buds. They’re said to provide premium sound as well has hearing protection. Let’s check them out below.

Milwaukee Red Lithium USB Bluetooth Ear Buds – Features
That’s right, Milwaukee has come out with their very own set of bluetooth true wireless ear buds. These offer noise reduction along with premium “uncompromised” sound quality. As you can see above, they come with a charging case.
The buds themselves are smallish and don’t have a downward rod like Airpods do. Instead the have a flat rounded shape exterior.
The flat surface acts as a button to change tracks, answer calls, and such.
They use Bluetooth to pair wirelessly with your phone.
One of their interesting tech features is the Jobsite Aware Mode. “When activated, this mode provides enhanced situational awareness by actively sensing external noises and reduces volume pass-through of loud sounds until levels reach a designated listening volume.”
Passive hearing protection is provided by the included silicone and foam ear tips. They provide 22 and 25 NRR (Noise Reduction Rating).
As the name suggests, these ear buds are part of the Red Lithium USB product lineup. This is because it uses their Red Lithium USB batteries. In my opinion they should have instead gone with a built in non-swappable internal battery inside the case. This would keep the case smaller since the Milwaukee ear buds case is on the large side for ear bud cases due to the Red Lithium USB battery. But I think many users simply won’t mind as the case is still easily pocketable.
The case is charged via USB-C. The case doesn’t offer wireless charging. Too bad it doesn’t as that would be a useful feature since many other wireless ear bud cases offer this feature.
Runtime is rated for up to 10 hours for all day use for the ear buds and the charging case provides up to 70 hours of runtime with multiple recharges.
