Milwaukee Nitrus Carbide Multitool Blades – Features

Milwaukee Nitrus Carbide Multitool Blades hero

Multitool blades generally aren’t known for being long lasting. That’s why manufacturers have blade options that incorporate stronger more durable carbide teeth. Milwaukee’s newest oscillating multitool blades also incorporate carbide teeth which they call Nitrus Carbide. They claim their Nitrus Carbide blades not only provide 2x faster cuts but also 2x longer life than traditional carbide teeth blades. Those are some strong claims if true.

They also feature a newly designed Universal Fit OPEN-LOK anchor design. The open back design gives it the ability to fit over 100+ multitools and allow for quick blade changes. Milwaukee says that the new blades are strengthened and reinforced to help reduce vibration and have better cutting control. The new anchor is also said to maximize tool to blade power transfer through a secure connection.

These Nitrus Carbide blades come in two variations, an extreme metal blade and extreme materials blade.
